The history of the TrendStuffer System:
The base of the TrendStuffer System consists of the Indicators for the MetaTrader 4 platform. (The platform is free and can be downloaded without registration from www.metaquotes.net) After developing the indicator, we have built a so-called Expert Advisor (it means 'automatic trading robot') based on it to trade on certain securities without the need of any human intervention.
We have to mention once more that the TrendStuffer System is _not_ a never-losing 'holy grail'. We strongly believe that no such thing exists and never will simply because of the financial markets' characteristics. The TrendStuffer is more like a new, 21st century way to manage your investments. If you're a professional Forex or other market trader then TrendStuffer will give you invaluable extra information regarding current market situation. 1.) The Indicator
The indicator itself was built by the TrendStuffer Team and it's not available for free anywhere.
The indicator is a unique one in terms that it's based on past AND current price action which means that it takes the past 3-6 months as a sample, and then adapts for current market conditions, based on volatility, volume, etc. The indicator itself is represented by an easily readable red-blue band on the bottom of the screen. When you get a blue color you should buy and keep the position until you receive a reversal signal. You'll receive a red signal and that's time to sell, and hold on to that until you receive another blue, etc. The rules are that simple! Buy on blue, sell on red.
2.) The Expert Advisor
We have built the Expert Advisor based on the TrendStuffer Indicator to make everyday trading easier. The EAs trade on their own and don't need any human intervention. You just add an EA to the chart, set up the parameters (if you wouldn't like to go with the defaults) and hit the 'Enable E.A.s' button. "I have been trading the EA on the default settings on the GBP/USD 1 hour chart since 5-4-07 This EA is the greatest thing I ever bought. It has made 18 trades of which 11 were winners. It has made +769 net pips for me! The largest loss was -49 pips and the largest win was +200 pips (There were 2 of these) The average win is much larger than the average loss and the winning percentage is right now at 61.1%. The EA just made the 2nd +200 pips this morning and was in this trade for 8 days. As of this moment, the EA is flat, waiting to pick a direction and get going again. I started the first 2 weeks at .10/pip to try it out, and then went to $2.00/pip. The EA has made me $1,297.88 so far. I couldn't be more pleased. I just now decided to go to $3.00/pip. I think the EA is based on very sound trading principles. It cuts losses short and lets profits run, which I have always had a hard time doing because I get emotional when real money is on the line. I have so far resisted the temptation to close trades manually that the EA has made, because sometimes profits can be reduced because of the distance to the trailing stop, but this is exactly what allows your profits to run. So don't mess with the EA, just let it trade and don't interfere. Also, don't trade too large for your account size. I am trading 1 mini-lot for each $2,000 in equity that I have. This may be too conservative for some, but I feel safer doing this. Of course in hindsight, I wish I had traded a lot bigger." |
